The Market right before Shabbat-- The craziest time of the day, an adventure well worth it:)
Shopping at the Jewish Market--wohoo!
The Rockefeler Museum
The Pita Factory--The best Pitas I've ever had I don't know if I will be able to live without these. J-Dogs watch out Tamarra and I are talking about a Falafel stand!
Oh my gosh...I can't even tell you how cool it was to walk through the streets of the Jewish market right before 3:00 or Shabbat! Unreal...people are stalking up on bread, chocolate croissants(unbelievably yummy), pitas, veggies, fruit....bands are playing in the streets...but most of all it is extremely crowded and people don't care if you are in their way. You definitely have to watch yourself:) I got some great food though for really cheap. My Old Testament teacher took us through and then took us to the pita factory where we saw how they make them and he gave us all a hot pita! I love it here more and more every time I go out into the city.
